A number of you use Google Reader to visit and read my blog through the RSS feed, which allows you to subscribe to the site using a “reader.” Unfortunately Google Reader is going away at the end of this month. I know I will personally miss it terribly and I will miss you too. But it doesn’t have to be that way – there are other reader options, which include Feedly (which allows you to migrate your data and feeds easily), Newsfire and Blog Lovin’. I attempted to move my feed to Feedly and failed so I tried Blog Lovin’ and I’m lovin’ it! If you’re on an iPad or other tablet or mobile device, give Flipboard a try.
I also have a tumblr account for dishnthekitchen, much to my teenage daughter’s chagrin…
If you read are signed up to receive posts from my blog via Twitter or Facebook you should have no disruption at all. Yay for technology!
Another option is to have blog posts/entries e-mailed to you, which you can do by filling out the form on the right side of this post in that white box that says “Click to follow this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.” Your e-mail address is never shared from there and it’s only used to send you blog posts, which you can cancel at any time.
But I wish you wouldn’t because I would miss you!
