1 1/2 cup graham (or oreo) crumbs
4oz crushed pecans (this time I used peanuts)
2 tbs. creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
Mix ingredients and press into the bottom of a 9×13 pan, saving a bit to sprinkle on the top later.
1 pkg (8oz) softened cream cheese
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tub cool whip (I used the equivalent amount of real whipped cream)
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all and spread evenly over the base. Sprinkle reserved crust crumbs and top with chocolate chips, shelled peanuts, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate or caramel syrups. Whatever you would like. Freeze overnight for best results.
For the recipe in the post, I used some of the crumbs, shelled peanuts, and some of the Dutch ‘De Ruijter’ chocolate sprinkles that we brought back from The Netherlands. I added the caramel syrup after I cut the individual pieces.
